As a long-time proponent of the Democratization of SEO, Keith has spent a good portion of his career with companies like Dell, seoClarity, and IBM teaching the principles of Search Experience Optimization, a user-focused philosophy that eschews the notion of SEO as an afterthought and embraces responsibility for the totality of the user’s experience through the Buyer’s Journey.
In this session, Keith will discuss his efforts around Decisions Through Data, an effort at IBM, to:
- Empower all marketers by giving them unlimited access to as much data as possible from as many sources as possible
- Teach them how to think critically about that data, to understand how it applies to them and their campaigns, and to ask the right questions in order to understand the story being told
- Encourage them to apply those learnings in order to iterate toward better decisions over time.
