About the Panelists:

Kelsey Ruger
Senior Director of Production Experience at P97 Networks

Kelsey RugerKelsey Ruger is a 20-year digital technology veteran. He has used web and mobile technologies to build award-winning products for business and organizations that have been used by more than 5,000,000 people around the world. Kelsey is widely regarded as an authority on user experience, design thinking, digital marketing, web development and mobile strategy, whose presentations have received nearly 2,000,000 views on Slideshare. He is the former President of the Houston Interactive Marketing Association and chair of the Energy SIG for Houston’s AMA chapter.

Kelsey who has lent his expertise to projects with Prodigy, AT&T, Yahoo, Microsoft, Invesco, Myspace, Schlumberger, and Halliburton is currently the Senior Director of Product Experience for Houston based P97 Networks. He has been a professor in the Bauer School of Business at the University of Houston where he taught User Experience and Design Thinking. Kelsey earned his B.A in Management Information Systems from the University of Houston. Kelsey was named one of Houston’s 40 under 40 in 2012 by the Houston Business Journal and is a 3 time SXSW Web Award finalist.


Mallory Roberts
Marketing Automation Specialist at Quarry

Mallory is a 2x Marketo Certified Expert with experience in over 50 marketing and sales technologies, leveraging these tools to drive revenue and process efficiencies across hundreds of marketing strategies and programs. She believes that success in marketing automation comes from being able to speak a variety of different languages – from design to data to sales.

After two client-side roles and one agency position, Mallory currently works for a cutting-edge technology-focused marketing agency named Quarry. Quarry is headquartered near Toronto, Canada, and focuses on clients with complicated tech stacks and advanced marketing needs. In her free time, you can find her hosting local charity events, managing her AirBnB properties, traveling and trying to keep up with her pup at the dog park.


Kashif KurshidKashif Khurshid
Marketing Analytics Manager, Global Programs at Alert Logic

Kashif Khurshid is a leading expert in Digital Marketing & Marketing Operations with over 13 years of experience in both B2B & B2C space. He is currently Leading the Marketing Analytics Team at Alert Logic (SaaS) with Pipeline Marketing, Customer Journey Attribution Modeling, & Mar Tech Stack Management. He has held many Digital Marketing leadership roles at organizations such as Waste Management, Charles Schwab, NRG (Reliant) Energy and TravelClick and has a special knack for enabling the “Services” product into the Digital Eco-System. Kashif has accidentally been a speaker at many events such as Emetrics, Adobe Marketing Symposium, AMA and others. and has also led the Houston chapter for Web Analytics Wednesdays (once upon a time). He somehow graduated with an MBA in Finance and MIS from the University of St. Thomas and also managed to complete his undergraduate from the University of Houston in Marketing and Finance. When he is not at work, you may find him on bewildered lands and off-road parks trying to free up his jeep from the dirt just to make it back to Sugar Land and in time for dinner with his lovely wife & two daughters.

A Dynamic Marketing Leader and Speaker with extensive demand generation, communications, and go-to-market experience, Kurt Stoll successfully delivered at Hewlett-Packard one of the world’s largest and most complex enterprise-level Eloqua Marketing Automation implementations to date, including an integration with the world’s largest Salesforce instance, growing Marketing’s contribution to pipeline by 25%. In addition, Kurt drove improvements to HPE’s Enterprise Lead Management and Analytics practice, helping to boost lead velocity by 95% and increase lead and pipeline conversions by 15% globally.

Kurt Stoll has held various leadership roles in both Marketing and Sales organizations, starting as VP of Sales for Spectrum Dynamics, a startup providing Virtual Reality hardware and software to the AeroSpace industry, as well as more recently serving as Director of Marketing Automation for Symantec, Global Programs Manager of Marketing Automation for HP, and Director of Marketing and Communications for Visionmonitor Software. Kurt also has a strong background in Marketing and Product Management in previous roles as Sr. Product Marketing Manager for NetIQ and Product Manager for Schlumberger Information Security Solutions. Kurt is currently the Director of Marketing Automation and Web Operations at 3D Systems, where he oversees the strategic growth of their Marketing Technology Stack and leads the ongoing operations of their Web CMS and Pardot marketing automation platforms.
